ANEEJ Staff Celebrate ED, David Ugolor at 50

Benin City— Staff of ANEEJ today gathered at the corporate headquarters of the organization in Benin City to celebrate their Executive Director, Rev David Ugolor who clocks 50 next Sunday, February 2.

At the surprise ceremony which was jointly organized by Staff of the Benin and Abuja Advocacy offices of the organisation, Rev David Ugolor who was obviously elated by the show of love from his colleagues urged staff to be dedicated to their duties and always go for results.

 “I urge you all to be dedicated to duty and give more results to the organization and humanity. I don’t usually have any personal issues with any staff but the work. All I want is results. I want you guys to come up with ideas that would take ANEEJ to the next level. At 50, I should begin to plan my transition out of ANEEJ as the founder.  ANEEJ is not a family business, I will have to go and do other things. I can go to the Board, but you guys need to be prepared to take over from where we let off,” Ugolor charged his colleagues.

Staff took turns to recall their work relationship with their ED and how he has been of great inspiration to them and how he has affected their lives and those of their families. Some were really emotional in telling their stories of how David Ugolor turned their lives around for good since they joined the organisation. Some pointed to his strong mentorship skills, his strictness, overflowing goodwill and caring attitude beyond the office environment.

Staff and colleagues sang and danced with him as they prayed to God to continue to protect and bless their ED during the glass clinking toasts.
