Background
Act Naija! – Civil Society Action to Strengthen Social Protection in Nigeria is a three-year initiative co-funded by the European Union under its Human Rights and Support to Civil Society in Nigeria programme. The project is implemented by a consortium comprising Brot für die Welt (BfdW), the Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ), and the New Initiative for Social Development (NISD).
The project recognizes social protection as one of the most essential mechanisms for reducing poverty and inequality and promoting social justice. As a result, the overall objective of the project is to improve the inclusivity of the social protection system in Nigeria. One of the objectives of the project is to increase public awareness on the importance of promoting an inclusive and responsive social protection system.
As part of the project implementation, ANEEJ is seeking the services of a media consultant to coordinate media activities in Abuja, Enugu, Delta, Kogi and Borno State in line with one of the project objectives.
